Emil Andreev
Emil Andreev graduated in English Language Studies from Veliko Turnovo University and has worked as a teacher, newspaper editor and a lecturer in English language at the Faculty of Theology, Sofia University.
His is the author of Lom Stories (1996), Late Art Nouveau (1998), The Drunkards’ Island (1999) – short stories; To Kill a Prime Minister (2002) and The Treasure Hunters (2003) – plays; The Glass River (2004) and The Curse of the Frog (2006) – novels. At present, he is working on his new novel Milk and Blood.
The author is a VICK Award winner for 2005 and a winner of the Readers’ Award for the same novel.
His works are translated in German, English, Polish, Russian, Slovakian and Serbian.
