KAPKA KASSABOVA is a writer and journalist, author of book reviews, travel memoirs and articles for The Guardian, The Sunday Times, The Scottish Review of Books, Vogue, The Times Literary Supplement, Granta, and BBC Radio 3 and 4.
She is lecturer in Creative Writing at the Strathclyde University, Glasgow, and Royal Literary Fund Fellow (2009-2011) at the same university. She has also taught Creative Writing at the ARVON Foundation in August 2010.
Kapka is author of the following books in English: Twelve Minutes of Love (2011), Villa Pacifica (2010), Street Without a Name (2008). The latter was selected as book of the year by Jan Morris in the Financial Times (2008), shortlisted for the Authors' Club Dolman Best Travel Book Award, London (2009), and the Prix du livre europeen, Brussels (2009).
