Garrard Conley

Garrard Conley is a graduate of the Auburn University Creative Writing MA program. He will be attending the University of North Carolina-Wilmington MFA program in the fall. A Returned Peace Corps Volunteer (RPCV), he served as an English teacher in Ukraine from 2007 to 2010. Garrard is currently a student editor at the Southern Humanities Review. He is at work on his first manuscript, Supplemental Phrases for Amerykantsi, a collection of linked short stories about Ukrainian life and Ukrainians living in America.
